The following performance figures can be generated and illustrated for a customised group of reference companies:

Explanation of the performance figures

With the help of this performance benchmark you can compare your company’s performance to that of reference companies. The following example represents a possible result for the performance figure productivity (value added per employee):

To use this benchmarking option a user name and a password is obligatory. Participants of the European Manufacturing Survey 2009 have the necessary access authorisation.

Interested companies which have not participated in the survey can order access authorisation for a fee by filling in and sending the order form.

For non-participants the performance benchmarking is available for
750,- EUR plus VAT.. This includes the following:

• Access to the online benchmarking to select anonymised reference companies (min. 30) from our data base of more than 1,700 companies with comparable frame conditions of the manufacturing sector. You can select the following criteria: company size (number of employees), complexity of the manufactured goods, batch size and type of manufacturing (made-to-order or made-to-stock production).
• Calculation and graphical representation of mean values and distribution curves of the above mentioned benchmarking variables for the reference companies.
